The University provides counselling services to support students who may experience psycho social and/or academic challenges. The Student Counsellor who is a clinical psychologist renders, among others, the following services:
Individual Students
Confidential counselling for various psychological, emotional, and developmental challenges. This service includes focussing on and dealing with adjustment, self-esteem, stress-management, anger-management, anxiety, depression, relationships, sexual assault, trauma, and grief.
Student Groups
The Centre conducts a diversity of student development programmes and workshop sessions ranging from study skills, exam preparation skills, self-esteem, coping with stress, time management, self-discovery, etc.
